CGFOA's Scholarship Opportunity For College Students is now open!

We are thrilled to announce the return of this scholarship opportunity for students or prospective student who are enrolled or plan to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program in public administration, finance, business administration, or a related field.

The George A. Nielsen Public Investor Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship (may be awarded as two $2,500 separate scholarships) given in honor of George A. Nielsen: a friend, supporter, and educator of public finance officials around the State of Colorado. The 2026 application deadline is July 6th.
