Education Programming

About Our Education Programming

One of the key activities of the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association is to offer training and professional development opportunities to our members. We offer over 40 education and networking opportunities throughout the year. These include online education and training sessions, hybrid meetings and workshops, and in person events. Our annual in person events include:

  • Annual Fall Conference
  • Summer Mini Conference
  • Topgolf Social
  • Quarterly CTAC Training Seminars
  • Delegate Event at the national GFOA Conference
  • Education Roadshow, 1 day training workshop across the state of Colorado

Our education sessions that offer CPE, including both in person trainings and virtual sessions, all comply with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) joint Statement of Standards for CPE Programs.

Sponsorship fee schedules for special events, including but not limited to the Annual Fall Conference, Summer Mini-Conference, and the Topgolf Social are determined and announced when those events are scheduled each year.

Refund Policy

  • Seven days or more prior to event: Full Refund
  • Less than seven days prior to event: 25% cancellation fee
