When did you start in your current organization: 2025

Tell us a little bit about your background: Worked my way up from City Clerk to Administrator/Financial Officer to Manager before moving to Colorado to take over as Treasurer.

How did you get into the public finance field: Fell into it, always enjoyed numbers. Worked as Black Jack dealer when I got the chance to work as Financial Analyst at a medical company before finding my place in a local government.

Did you work in other professions, and if so where and for how long: Bartender for ages, influencer, black jack dealer, correctional officer

A flexible commitment of 1–3 hours per month

Group coffee chats every 1–2 months + optional one-on-one mentoring

Mentors may volunteer to lead a group session in their area of expertise
Whether you’d like to mentor, be mentored, or both, we encourage you to join. The program is open to all CGFOA members.
