We’re excited to invite you to participate in the CGFOA Mentorship and Coaching Program for 2025 — a unique opportunity to accelerate your professional growth or give back to the government finance community.

Why become a mentor?

·       Share your expertise and help guide fellow professionals on their career paths.

·       Inspire the next generation of leaders in government finance.

·       Enjoy meaningful connections and fresh perspectives while contributing to someone else’s success.

Why become a mentee?

·       Gain valuable advice on leadership, technical skills, career advancement, and work-life balance.

·       Build your professional network and get tailored guidance from seasoned professionals.

·       Learn from mentors who have already navigated the paths you’re pursuing.

What’s involved?

·       A flexible commitment of just 1-3 hours per month, including group coffee chats (held every 1-2 months) and optional one-on-one mentoring.

·       Mentors will lead at least one group session on a topic in their expertise area.

·       Mentees will have access to a mentor directory to reach out for advice when they need it.

Whether you’re looking to give back by mentoring or eager to grow your own skills and career as a mentee, we encourage you to join us. The 2025 program runs from January through December and is open to all CGFOA members.
